In 2011 the members and friends of the Church of the Pacific organized and produced a #2 cookbook, Kauai Cooks. The first one in 2006 was such a success that we decided to do another one with new recipes and artwork. Aside fron having really wonderful recipes, this time each chapter has a colored divider page of pictures from the north shore with explanations of each historical landmark displayed. We also have signature recipes from professional chefs who work at the best restaurants here. <- The picture at the left shows Frank Tobias and Carole Knutzen talking to the congregation about the cookbook. One of Carole's best selling points when she is talking to our visitors is: “It's easy to slip into your suitcase to take home with you.” Call Jeni at the church to order one. You can also pay by credit card over the phone. $15 goes to help our Food Pantry Ministry. |
